Herbalife Gels MindVita Kids: Ingredients, Nutrition & How to Use It

By Dogus Dilan, Herbalife Independent Wellness Coach · Last updated 13 August 2026 · 6 min read

Herbalife Gels MindVita Kids is a sugar-free, fish-oil-based chewable gel for children aged 4–17, in Moonbeam Lemonberry flavour. Each gel provides 250mg DHA and 50mg EPA, plus Vitamin B6, B12, Niacin and Biotin. DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and normal vision at a daily intake of 250mg; the B vitamins contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism, nervous system function and psychological function. It contains fish, is gluten-free, and one gel is taken daily, chewed thoroughly under adult supervision.

MindVita Kids combines omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) with a small group of B vitamins in a chewable gel — designed as an alternative to liquid fish oil or syrup-based children’s vitamins, without added sugar.

This guide covers exactly what’s in it, what the label’s claims actually mean, and how to use it. If you’re comparing it to Herbalife’s other children’s gel, NutrientVita Kids, see our guide to Herbalife products for kids for how the two differ.

What’s In It

Ingredients, taken directly from the official product label:

Fish oil concentrate, sweetener (xylitol), water, sweetener (sorbitol), gelatine, natural flavourings, acidity regulator (trisodium citrate), lutein and zeaxanthin mixture, acidity regulator (citric acid), antioxidant (ascorbic acid), Niacin (nicotinamide), sweetener (steviol glycosides from Stevia), Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin), Biotin (D-biotin).

Sugar-free Gluten-free Contains fish

Lutein and zeaxanthin are included in the formula as ingredients. There is no EFSA-authorised health claim for lutein or zeaxanthin at this dose, so we don’t attribute any effect to them here — they’re listed for transparency, not as an active claim.

Allergen: Contains fish. Sweetened with xylitol and sorbitol rather than sugar — as with any sugar alcohol, very large amounts can have a mild laxative effect, though the one-gel daily dose is formulated for children’s use.

% RI = Reference Intake. “–” means no RI has been established for that substance under EU/UK food labelling rules — this doesn’t mean it isn’t present, just that there’s no official daily benchmark to compare it against.

What the Claims Actually Mean

MindVita Kids carries two categories of EU-authorised health claim:

  • DHA and brain function/vision: DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and normal vision. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250mg — exactly what one gel provides.
  • B vitamins and energy/nervous system: Vitamin B6, B12, Niacin and Biotin contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism, normal nervous system function and normal psychological function.

These are general “maintenance of normal function” claims — they describe DHA and the B vitamins’ established role in the body at the stated dose. They aren’t claims about improving school performance, screen-time recovery, or any effect beyond normal physiological function, and we don’t extend them further than that here.

How to Use It

Take one chewable gel daily for children aged 4–17. It should be chewed thoroughly before swallowing, and children should be supervised by an adult while taking it. Use within a balanced and varied diet, as part of a healthy, active lifestyle.

No. It’s made with fish oil concentrate and the label states it contains fish.

What does the 250mg DHA claim actually mean?
