Herbalife24® CR7 Drive: Ingredients, Nutrition & How to Use It
By Dogus Dilan, Herbalife Independent Wellness Coach · Last updated 13 August 2026 · 7 min read
Herbalife24® CR7 Drive is a carbohydrate-electrolyte drink developed by Herbalife’s sports nutrition team in partnership with Cristiano Ronaldo. It’s designed to be drunk during exercise — running, football, weightlifting or any sustained training session — where plain water alone doesn’t replace what’s lost through sweat.
It has an Acai Berry flavour, no artificial sweeteners, and is Informed Sport certified, meaning every batch is tested for banned substances by LGC’s anti-doping laboratory.

What CR7 Drive Is Formulated to Do
CR7 Drive’s carbohydrate-electrolyte formula is built to meet two health claims authorised under EU Regulation (EC) No 432/2012:
- Enhances water absorption — carbohydrate-electrolyte solutions enhance the absorption of water during physical exercise.
- Maintains endurance performance — carbohydrate-electrolyte solutions contribute to the maintenance of endurance performance during prolonged exercise.
Vitamins B1 (thiamin) and B12 both contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism — a single 500ml serving provides 100% of the Reference Intake for both.

Ingredients
Dextrose, sugar, maltodextrin, trisodium citrate, isomaltulose*, acidity regulator (citric acid), magnesium salts of citric acid, potassium citrate, flavourings, colours (anthocyanins), cyanocobalamin, thiamin mononitrate.
* Isomaltulose is a source of glucose and fructose. The purple colour comes from anthocyanins, a natural botanical source — there are no artificial colours or sweeteners in the formula.
Canister vs Sachets
Both formats use the identical Acai Berry formula — the only difference is portioning.
How to Use It
Canister: Gently shake the canister before each use, as contents may settle. Add 2 scoops (27g) to 500ml of water and shake vigorously. Best consumed during exercise.
Sachets: Mix 1 sachet (27g) with 500ml of water and shake vigorously. Best consumed during exercise.
Enjoy within a balanced and varied diet, as part of a healthy active lifestyle. Store with the lid closed in a cool, dry place.
Informed Sport Certification
CR7 Drive carries the Informed Sport quality mark. This means a sample from every batch is tested by LGC’s anti-doping laboratory and confirmed free of banned substances before release — not just occasional spot-checks. This matters for anyone subject to drug testing: competitive athletes, and also members of the armed forces or emergency services.
Frequently Asked Questions
What electrolytes does CR7 Drive contain?
249mg of sodium and 142mg of magnesium per 500ml serving, alongside Vitamins B1 (thiamin) and B12.
Does CR7 Drive contain artificial sweeteners?
No. The formula has no artificial sweeteners; its purple colour comes from anthocyanins, a natural botanical source.
What’s the difference between the canister and the sachets?
The formula is identical. The 540g canister gives you 20 scoop-measured servings, better value for home/daily use. The 10-sachet box gives pre-measured 27g doses, more convenient for travel or race day.
Is CR7 Drive Informed Sport certified?
Yes. Every batch is tested for banned substances by LGC’s anti-doping laboratory before release.
When should I drink CR7 Drive?
The label states it is best consumed during exercise, mixed as directed (27g per 500ml water).
How much sugar is in CR7 Drive?
18g of sugar per 500ml made-up serving (66g per 100g of powder) — this comes from the carbohydrate-electrolyte formula itself (dextrose, sugar, maltodextrin, isomaltulose), which is what enables the water-absorption and endurance-performance claims.
