Herbalife Ideal Breakfast Kit brings three products together in one box. Formula 1 Healthy Meal 550 g is the meal replacement shake mix, with 21 servings of 26 g giving 227 kcal and 18 g of protein when prepared with 250 ml of semi-skimmed milk. Instant Herbal Beverage with Tea Extracts 51 g gives 30 servings, each with 87.5 mg of caffeine and 6 kcal. Three Products, One Routine
This is the core Herbalife morning set: the shake that stands in for a meal, a tea and an aloe drink. One of the three is a meal replacement; the other two are ordinary drinks with very few calories. If you want a protein top-up alongside them, the Advanced Package is the same three products plus a Protein Drink Mix.
1. Formula 1 Healthy Meal, 550 g — the meal replacement
21 servings of 26 g. With 250 ml of semi-skimmed milk a serving gives 227 kcal and 18 g of protein, and 25 vitamins and minerals. High in protein and high in fibre, vegan sourced, gluten free, no added dairy. 2. Instant Herbal Beverage with Tea Extracts, 51 g — the tea
30 servings of 1.7 g, half a teaspoon in 200 to 240 ml of hot or cold water. 87.5 mg of caffeine and 6 kcal a serving. Green tea leaf extract at 17.7 % and orange pekoe tea leaf extract at 4.7 %. Four flavours at checkout; the Original tea page has the full breakdown. See the caffeine note below.
3. Herbal Aloe Concentrate Mango, 473 ml — the aloe drink
31 servings of 15 ml, three capfuls into 120 ml of water, or 120 ml into a litre jug. 2 kcal a serving and no sugars. Purified whole-leaf aloe vera juice at 40 %, with chamomile extract. The label describes it as low calorie and sugar free. The only item in the box that needs refrigerating once opened. A 1.892 litre bottle exists if you get through it quickly.
Ideal or Advanced?
The two kits share these three products. The Advanced Package adds a Protein Drink Mix 588 g. Two things follow from that, and the second one matters more than people expect:
Extra protein
The Protein Drink Mix adds 21 servings of 15 g protein for 108 kcal each, either on its own between meals or stirred into the shake. If you are not looking to raise your protein beyond what the shake gives, you do not need it.
Milk
The Protein Drink Mix contains milk caseinate, so the Advanced box as a whole declares milk as an allergen. This Ideal kit does not: across all three products the only declared allergens are soy and oat. If you are avoiding dairy, this is the kit to take.
Using the Formula 1 Shake for Weight Control
These claims apply to the Formula 1 meal replacement shake in the box, not to the tea or the aloe concentrate. They are used here in the wording they are authorised in.

How Long Each One Lasts
The three do not run out together. On the two-shake pattern the canister empties first, and by a wide margin:
If you are following the two-shake pattern, a second Formula 1 canister alongside the kit keeps the three roughly in step for a month. On one shake a day the three run out within ten days of each other.
Caffeine in the Tea
One serving of the Instant Herbal Beverage is 87.5 mg of caffeine, and the label’s directions are one or two glasses a day, so two servings come to 175 mg. The tea label prints this notice:
Notice: It is recommended not to exceed a daily intake of 400 mg of caffeine from all sources (200 mg for pregnant or breast-feeding women).
All sources means everything in the day, coffee included. Neither the Formula 1 shake nor the aloe concentrate contains caffeine.
Allergens Across the Box
Soy and oat come from the Formula 1 shake. No milk is declared anywhere in this box. Always check the individual label inside, as flavours and formulations can change.
Storage
Store the two powders with lids closed in a cool, dry place. The Herbal Aloe Concentrate is different: keep it in a cool, dry place while sealed, then refrigerate once opened and use within 30 days. Best before and lot numbers are on the base of each container.
