What Is in the Box
Four separate products, each with its own label and its own job. Only one of them is a meal replacement; the other three are a protein drink, a tea and an aloe concentrate. Worth knowing before you plan how to use them.
1. Formula 1 Healthy Meal, 550 g — the meal replacement
21 servings of 26 g. Prepared with 250 ml of semi-skimmed milk a serving gives 227 kcal and 18 g of protein, with 25 vitamins and minerals. High in protein and high in fibre, vegan sourced, gluten free, no added dairy. Seven flavours to choose from at checkout; the exact vitamin and mineral figures vary slightly by flavour, and each is on its own page in the Herbalife Shakes category.
2. Protein Drink Mix 588 g — the protein top-up
21 servings of 28 g. Two tablespoons with 250 ml of cold water give 108 kcal and 15 g of protein. Not a meal replacement — it is a between-meals protein drink, or something to stir into the Formula 1 shake. Suitable for vegetarians; contains soya and milk. Full detail on the Protein Drink Mix page.
3. Instant Herbal Beverage with Tea Extracts 51 g — the tea
30 servings of 1.7 g, half a teaspoon in 200 to 240 ml of hot or cold water. Each serving carries 87.5 mg of caffeine and 6 kcal. 4. Herbal Aloe Concentrate Mango 473 ml — the aloe drink
31 servings of 15 ml, three capfuls into 120 ml of water, or 120 ml into a litre jug. 2 kcal a serving, no sugars. Made with purified whole-leaf aloe vera juice at 40 %, with chamomile extract. The label describes it as low calorie and sugar free. This is the only item in the box that needs refrigerating once opened. There is also a 1.892 litre bottle if you get through it.
Using the Formula 1 Shake for Weight Control
These two claims apply to the Formula 1 meal replacement shake in the box, not to the tea, the aloe or the Protein Drink Mix. They are used here in the wording they are authorised in.

How the Four Fit Into a Day
The box is built around the two-meal pattern in the claim above: a Formula 1 shake in place of breakfast, a balanced meal in the middle of the day, and a second Formula 1 shake in place of the evening meal. The Protein Drink Mix sits between meals or goes into the shake itself to lift its protein. The tea is a hot or cold drink at whatever point suits, bearing the caffeine in mind. The aloe concentrate is mixed into water and drunk through the day. None of the three has to be taken at a set time; only the Formula 1 timing follows from the claim.
How Long Each One Lasts

Caffeine in the Tea
One serving of the Instant Herbal Beverage is 87.5 mg of caffeine, and the label’s directions are one or two glasses a day, so two servings come to 175 mg. The tea label prints this notice:

All sources means everything in the day, coffee included. The other three products in the box contain no caffeine.
Allergens Across the Box
The Protein Drink Mix is the reason the box as a whole contains milk, so it is suitable for vegetarians rather than vegans even though the Formula 1 shake on its own is vegan sourced. Always check the individual label in the box, as flavours and formulations can change.
Storage
Store the three powders with lids closed in a cool, dry place. The Herbal Aloe Concentrate is different: store it in a cool, dry place while sealed, then keep it refrigerated once opened and use within 30 days. Best before and lot numbers are on the base of each container.
